I have developed a functional F1 widget app that provides Driver and Constructor standings. I’ve used it personally for a year, and now I want to release it for free on the App Store and Google Play for the 2026 season.

The logic is complete and uses the Ergast-compatible Jolpica API. I am looking for a designer to create a modern, high-fidelity UI in Figma.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is seeking a designer with a strong background in web and graphic design. A successful candidate will have a good understanding of the principles of web design, a portfolio demonstrating their skills, and experience collaborating with web developers.

Responsibilities

Work with EFF’s activists, technologists, and policy experts to design new websites for high-profile campaigns and technological tools that help protect privacy and freedom of speech online. Your work will help to shape the future of the Internet. Review existing sites for opportunities to improve user engagement, accessibility, compatibility with multiple devices and browsers, and internationalization. Create wireframes and user flows to help refine requirements and to communicate them to web developers. Contribute to EFF’s graphic design and print production needs. Practice human-centered design, assisting with the creation of user stories and conducting informal user testing.

Required qualifications:

A portfolio of graphic design and web design work samples, including mobile / responsive sites. Two or more years of professional design experience.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

Experience in gathering and refining requirements from requesters. Experience with issues around accessibility and universal design. Basic understanding of web application development. You don’t need to know how to program, but some familiarity with CSS and HTML will help you communicate with developers. “Nice-to-have” really does mean nice-to-have. It’s possible to have none of these nice-to-have qualifications and still be a great fit for the position. Hi,

Thank you for visiting this job post. The Sleepe Owl project is a fully open source and fully free learning application.

We are looking for good and experienced Logo and Branding specialist. Who’s main task will be design our brand on the website, mobile application and advertisements.

Why we do this? Becase the knowledge of math, physics, languages, programming, etc… should be free. In my country, in Hungary the social education program is old and bad, with really old habits (30 years old at least). I know the situation is the same in a lot of country in the world. Nowadays, in the life we have a bunch of problems what the social education can’t resolve and to reach the necessarry knowledge you should pay a bunch of money.

So, the purpose of this project is to collect a bunch of developers, designers, editors and teachers, to make a huge collaboration for the free and perfect education.

I hope in the human goodness, because I do this project for free to have a better generation of kids and adults who can solve the problems of today and tomorrow.

I started this project on 2018/03/30. We have a GitHub organization and a simple website. The GitHub organization is https://github.com/Sleepe-Owl where you can find a repository called sleepe-owl-design where we will store our design files.

What I ask from you? Just to collaborate to this project with ideas with knowledge or with design our brand.

OwnPass is a self hosted, open source password management tool. It’s an open source package of applications and browser extensions that make it possible to manage secure data across multiple devices.

Why use a password manager?

How To Geek wrote a very good article about this, so instead of reinventing the wheel, let me quote them.

The majority of people use very weak passwords and reuse them on different websites. How are you supposed to use > strong, unique passwords on all the websites you use? The solution is a password manager. Password managers store your login information for all the websites you use and help you log into them automatically. They encrypt your password database with a master password – the master password is the only one you have to remember.

How OwnPass is different from existing software?

We’ve described this in the Unique Selling Points page and competition page of our wiki.

What you will do?

You will create the visual appearance of the product. This ranges from the logo to the layouts of the devices that we will support.
